Privacy Policy

Wildpaw ("we", "us") is built by dog people for dog people. We try to collect as little personal information as possible, and we never sell what we do collect.

What we collect

  • Location data. With your permission, we use your device location to show nearby trails and parks. Location is used in-session and is not stored on our servers unless you save a trail.
  • Account information. If you sign in (via Google), we store your email address, display name, and avatar URL so you can save trails and leave reviews.
  • User-generated content. Reviews, ratings, and saved trails you create are stored against your account.

How we use it

  • To show you relevant trails near your location.
  • To let you save trails and leave reviews under your account.
  • To improve Wildpaw — aggregate, anonymous usage patterns only.

Third-party services

Wildpaw relies on a small set of trusted providers:

  • Google Places — to look up parks, trails, and place details.
  • Mapbox — to render interactive maps.
  • Supabase — our backend for accounts, saved trails, and reviews.
  • Google Sign-In — to authenticate your account, if you choose to sign in.

Each provider has its own privacy policy and may collect technical data (such as IP address) as part of normal service delivery.

Cookies

We use a small number of essential cookies and local-storage entries to keep you signed in and remember your preferences (such as your last-used location). We do not use third-party advertising cookies for tracking across other sites.

Your choices

You can sign out at any time, delete your reviews, or request account deletion by contacting us via the contact page.
