About
A field guide for good dogs and good people
Wildpaw is a community-driven guide to dog-friendly trails, parks, and green spaces. We surface the details that actually matter to dog owners — leash rules, water access, shade, senior-friendly grades — so you can spend less time guessing and more time outside.
Romeo started it
Wildpaw began with a scrappy rescue named Romeo, who had two settings: nap and adventure. Every weekend turned into the same scavenger hunt — is this trail leash-required? Is there water? Will the gravel be too hot for his paws? The answers were scattered across blog comments, outdated PDFs, and that one Reddit thread from 2019. So we started collecting them.
Our mission
Every dog deserves a great adventure.
That's it. Whether you have a senior beagle, a stubborn husky, or a puppy who thinks every leaf is a personal challenge — there's a good place for them outside, and we want to help you find it.
Based in Arlington, VA
Wildpaw is built in Arlington, Virginia — a town that punches well above its weight in dog-friendly trails. We're slowly expanding nationwide, one verified park at a time.
